Hello Teenaged Jen

I know that you think that you are on top of the world and that nothing is beyond your grasp. I want you to know that when you crash, and you will, God will catch you. You might not understand it or even feel his grasp at the time, but his hands are there underneath you all the time. There will be days when you feel like there is nothing left for you to hang onto; that all of your strength is gone and you just simply can not get up and do another step. You can! God will catch you! I want you to remember that one phrase through every demanding day. Every time your dream of college slips through your fingers. Every time you fight with your husband and wonder what you were thinking. Every time one of your children grabs your shirt and demands your attention when all you have the energy for is sitting on the couch. God will catch you!

Keep praying teenaged Jen, God is alway there and always listening, even when you don't want him to.

When God Creates and "Earthquake" In Your Life

Two months ago, God directed my family to leave our home and relocate to Cody, WY. to be part of a church plant. We left a nice house, good jobs, and an established life to come to a new area. I left a career to become a stay at home mom to our six year old and twin four year olds. This has been a huge adjustment for me. For the first month I simply allowed myself to sink into a deep depression. I quit studying my Bible and fell into only praying at dinner and with our church group. In the last few weeks though, I have broken out of my comfort zone. I joined our MOPS group and a weekly Bible Study Fellowship Group. I realize that God brought this "earthquake" to our lives to refocus me on him. My husband has a great job and we have drawn much closer through this process. My oldest daughter loves her school and is growing so fast. My twin girls are having a great time spending time with me and I am learning so much about them. God has plans for us, whether we necessarily agree with them or not. And his plans are for our good, because we love him.
